Hello to all Grade 3 and 4 students!
I am getting excited about starting a new year of school and I hope you are too. I am looking forward to seeing my students from last year again, and getting to know all of my new students in Grade 3 and the students who are new to Benito School.
Your first day of school is Wednesday, September 7. The school supply list is posted on the Benito School website (http://www.svsd.ca/benito/) for your convenience. Take note as well of what the fees are for classroom supplies/agendas/t-shirts. While you are on the website check out the September school calendar for important dates. Picture day is Thursday, September 15.
We have a lot of exciting topics that we are going to cover this year starting with mapping skills in Social Studies and rocks and minerals in Science. You might want to start your search for unique and pretty rocks to go in our rock tumbler.
I will be at school, along with all of the other teaching staff, on Tuesday, September 6. If you are new to our school please feel free to stop by and visit! If you have any questions or concerns you can always contact me at home at 539-2588.
